Pre-Halloween Celebrations 10 23 10

OH MY – will the sound of happy music and the VERY LOUD voices of “HUNDREDS” of third, fourth, and fifth graders ever depart from my memory. I don’t think so. The kids were having SO MUCH FUN. There was popcorn, hula hoop and costume contests, dancing, and balloon animals (only SOMEONE got the idea that making balloon swords for the kids would be a good idea……you can probably imagine HUNDREDS of kids running around with “swords” and they weren’t marching orderly either.
:)
Tonight was the HALLOWEEN BALL at school and I went with Grandangel Sarah….that is were all of the FUN was happening. The rest of the Epps family went to a costume Halloween party – so tonight was a frenzy of putting on make-up, painting on a mustache, combing blue wigs, and spraying lots of glitter on rock-star Sarah. I think the GETTING READY had to be just as much fun as the special events.
Check out my family…..Greg and Christi were THING 1 and THING 4, Leanna was Dorothy of the Wizard of Oz, Sarah was a rock star and Cooper was Mario (I painted the mustache on!) I actually had fun cutting those blue-hair wigs for Greg and Christi – aren’t they cute Dr. Seuss people!!!
