July 8 – my neice, Amanda, celebrated her birthday. She has brought smiles to all of us since 1977. And she has given me my first grandniece and grandnephew. THANKS AMANDA. You are awesome!
July 27 – our cat – Midnight Junior – turned 3 – she is a sweet kitty and totally black! Yes, we celebrate furry birthdays in this family! Here she is eating Grandangel Sarah’s braid!

July 30 – my mother turned 88 – and without her a lot of us wouldn’t even exist! Am I ever happy that SHE was born. 🙂 I got to celebrate her birthday with her this year – and I don’t think I have missed being with her on her birthday very many times in recent years!

August 2nd, Grandangel Collin turned 13 – I think it is fun when the grandangels become teenagers – such adventure moving from childhood to adulthood. Here is Collin 13! I predict that he will be in the TOP TEN on the list for all time sweet teenagers (even though he has been known to try to CHEAT at DOGOPOLY when playing with his dear grandmother! :)).
And – by the way, I will NEVER EVER reveal that actual top ten list. However, as my grandangels age, I MIGHT have to expand the list to MORE THAN TEN! LOL

Although I have three wonderful brothers, I have never had the pleasure of having a biological sister – however I have been blessed with sister-in-laws. Chris has become my true sister-in-love – and she is celebrating her birthday August 14th! Here is a picture of Chris with my sister-in-law, Elaine. They are both as nice as they look! I have sisters after all!!!

August 15, Oreo Cookie Chippie will turn 3 – she is a delightful beautiful cat who loves to take baths…..and she loves balloons too! She gets into the most convoluted positions to sleep – I just had to take this picture!

August 19, my nephew Joey will celebrate a birthday and commence his SENIOR YEAR in high school. Joey is the exercise guru in the family – his muscles have muscles! I must say that he is definitely on the LIST of Sweet Teenagers – and I think he is handsome too!

My DD Christi turns……I guess I should NOT say her age because she is an adult….. and she is looking forward to celebrating her birthday with Mickey Mouse at DISNEYLAND IN CALIFORNIA! Her she is, my DD, my friend, the baby of my family, and the mother of three of my wonderful grandangels! Here is a baby and an adult Christi picture……

As a little girl, Christi always used to tell me that she was going to grow up and live next door to me – guess she was a little prophet! She also used to tell me that she had ANOTHER mother who was nicer than me….that is a story that always makes me smile NOW but I wasn’t so PLEASED way back when. 🙂
And last but not least is my FIRST GRANDANGEL Brennan’s birthday August 22nd – born in 1987 – Brennan will be 22. Brennan is a student at USC in CA and I think he looks like a movie star! I am TOTALLY OBJECTIVE, of course! 🙂 Actually I am sure that I am objective because I asked his girlfriend and SHE AGREES with me that Brennan looks like a movie star!
