OK – it is REALLY GOING TO HAPPEN! I have been talking about knitting socks – starting and stopping knitting socks……collecting patterns, needles for knitting socks…..I have even received special patterns and recommendations from friends.
Apparently when it comes to knitting socks, I am ALL THUMBS! Do you get the picture? So far I am a sock knitting drop out!
SO I FIGURED A THERAPY GROUP MIGHT BE MY TICKET!!!! I am joining a SOCK KNIT ALONG starting November 1st……I have my book, my needles and my yarn and I am going to knit socks TWO AT A TIME on circular needles…YES I AM!!! Do you wanna’ play?
Check out www.patchworktimes.com and see what Judy is up to! She knits and quilts and cooks – you name it! Even if you don’t want to knit, Judy’s blog is lots of fun for quilters. CHECK IT OUT!
Thanks to Judy C in NC for this tip!!!

Good Morning Quilters……..as the beauty and “coolness” of autumn descends upon us, doesn’t it just put you in the mood to make cozy quilts? (As if we needed a reason….LOL!)
My sista, Bonnie, just sent this link to me – yeah, a new blog that features SCRAPPY QUILTS. For some reason SCRAPPY makes me HAPPY – how about you?
I always think it is fun to see what other creative quilters are doing with their scraps…..go take a peek!

Today was the last day of Tour De Quilt and now the suspense mounts as we wait to see who won the Miniature Quilt Challenge and the prize of a brand new Brother Sewing Machine!
Today was my favorite day – got to see lots of good friends and the time just flew by. I took pictures of some quilts (love Lynn’s quilt that she made from last year’s Tour De Quilt fabrics using the Swirly Girls Pattern TIDBITS!) and I love my pictures of blocks of future quilts (Marla and Ginger) that really have inpsired me. It was fun to see Catherine, Bonnie, Lynne, Sue, Margaret, and lots of other folks! SO MANY QUILTERS – so little time to really enjoy it all!
SAO FINISHED BINDING ANOTHER QUILT – it was a very good day!
Thanks to my DD Christi for making the pumpkin muffins and thanks to Catherine for bringing all of the tools and treats to sao!!! I am so thankful to have seen Lynne and Sue – and I just absolutely feel renewed after hearing Sue’s final journey with her daddy. Some memories just warm your heart forever.
Enjoy the pictures!
