Busch Gardens – Easter 2009
Posted By drsao on April 12, 2009
We had a wonderful, albeit slightly cool at times, day at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA today. It was my first time to visit and I really enjoyed it. I hope to return many times – there was so much to see that we only scratched the surface!
Not only was it an amusement park – but there were also beautiful flowers and trees……and a touch of zoo here and there (note the picture of the white wolf and the birds.) I really enjoyed the Clydesdale Horses – and must beg the pardon of my brother Dan – I took a picture of the CLYDESDALE DAN and the pose was less than optimal. (HONESTLY, I tried to get the horse to turn around! I whipered his name – but he just stood there and ignored me! 🙂 Those horses are LARGE and BEAUTIFUL!!!!
My favorite ride was the DaVinci Cradle – it was thrilling. My DD and DSIL said they heard me screaming on the other side of the park when we rode the Battering Ram too…..but surely they were hearing someone else. LOL. It was all fun; however, I must say that I was quite shocked to be squirted on multiple occasions by Elmo (YES OF SESAME STREET) during his 4-D show. It was cold water too! 🙂
A good time was had by all……come along and enjoy the trip with us through pictures!
