Quilty Stuff that I did this week
Posted By drsao on June 5, 2009
I didn’t have much free time this week – but I did manage to do my block for the Williamsburg Guild – Colonial Piecemaker’s for tomorrow. This is my JUNE BUG BLOCK……everyone that makes a block gets a chance to win all of the blocks.
I said that I wasn’t going to start anything new for awhile – but when Bonnie K. Hunter has a mystery quilt – I am THERE…..no ifs, ands, or buts…..I am there. I love what she designs and I have made all of her mystery quilts so far – so there is no stopping me now. Here is what I did on her Christmas Lights Mystery. Above are the Unit 3 patches and below are the Units 1 and 2.
I made my 30’s Club Piece N Plenty Block and fillers for this month!
And I made my 30’s Club Star Block….
I made the BACK for Joey’s Forever Plaid Quilt….
And that was it – I was so busy every night this week!
And one more thing – I have had a request for a full picture of the FRIENDSHIP TIED UP WITH BOWTIES QUILT that I made for Catherine – and actually it isn’t finished yet because I had the NERVE to ask her to make it pretty by embellishing it….that is what you call a true TEAMWORK FRIENDSHIP QUILT! LOL. 🙂
How different your fabrics are from the ones I chose for the mystery quilt! I am looking forward to seeing everyone interpretations. I especially like the gold with the colored dots.
