The Corolla Ocean as seen from Tern of the Century and BARON – at Quilt Camp 2012
Posted By drsao on February 21, 2012
I simply adore Baron – one of Christy’s Great Danes. This guy was our mascot and he has the most admirable manners. He just melted my heart when he walked into the room carrying his TOY in his mouth. This BIG BABY even came up and put his head in my lap. I LOVE THIS DOG! I HAD to take several pictures!
I also HAD to snap a few pictures of the ocean. We did see a lot of dolphins this year but my camera isn’t good enough to have captured these…..maybe it is the person BEHIND the camera that is lacking in ability – but nonetheless, I loved being at the beach – and I even enjoyed the surf when it got a bit angry. Actually the last night of quilt camp was a TINY BIT eventful to the max (just a tad bit when the windows were shaking! ) We had an angry sea – and rain water was blowing like crazy – but it was beautiful in all of its fury. The truth is that with the storm at sea and the SNOW in surrounding areas, we were thinking that QUILT CAMP might have been extended by a day or so!
This is my last post of Quilt Camp 2012 at The Tern of the Century. I hope you have enjoyed the posts! I sure enjoyed being at QUILT CAMP. Thanks again to Christy for welcoming us into her home – and thanks to Judy for all of the hard work that goes into organizing our fun – not to mention the effort that goes into sharing all of the wonderful recipes from our menus with us!
