I am plugging away on my EASY STREET MYSTERY QUILT – designed by Bonnie K. Hunter. It is a LONG process but I am getting there. I have now completed the 16 Block A set.
And I have one of the Block B completed (but all of the parts are sewn together – so that will be my project this week!) I love Bonnie’s Design but I am not fond of these colors at all…..but I will be giving this quilt away so hopefully the recipient will love purple!!!!
NOTE TO SELF: No more making quilts in colors that you do not like…..life is too short…….LOL…..unless it is for a grandangel…….sigh…..nevermind about that NOTE TO SELF….:)
Just for a break I made ONE BLOCK for a wild and scrappy Trip Around the World Quilt ala Bonnie Hunter’s FREE PATTERNS on her Quiltville website. I decided to dig out some of my 2 1/2″ strips and put them to good use!
To look at what other quilters have on their design walls go to Judy Laquidara’s blog at Patchwork Times!

I love your color choices for the Bonnie H. mystery quilt.
Your quilt is lovely. You are doing great sewing on easy street. You have one top completed. I am still making blocks for mine. I know this quilt is easier than last year’s but I am sewing slowly on this one.

I so agree with you, Shirley – life is just too short to not like what you are doing – I feel that same way about eating cold French fries – wasted calories and time and is just not going to happen. LoL Love your quilt because I like purple alot – the color of royalty as my English husband says. Some days are also a complete waste of makeup. My arm is healing and Iwill start physical therapy next week – I was actually in the sewing room this week. Hoorah!!! – hugs to you. Judy C
