LOVED LOVED LOVED the PA Countryside

I think that I would like to live in PA – it would be a great place to have a BED AND BREAKFAST and I would want a big barn with goats and chickens and a few horses….yes that would be so nice. I can see it now – all of my quilter friends at big wooden farm tables sewing away…..quilts would be hanging on the walls and there MIGHT even be a fire roaring in a big stone fireplace. I guess I shouldn’t be dreaming about snow and fireplaces on the first day of spring…….but it really does sound wonderful to me! Sigh……..maybe one day when I retire!
We saw some beautiful WHITE DEER just outside the OREGON DAIRY (we liked this place so much that we ate there TWICE – and I am still dreaming about my piece of coconut custard pie!) I had never seen white ones before – that was a real treat! I just LOVE it when I see or learn new things!
The pastures, the barns, the silos, the animals…….it was just wonderful. I hope you enjoy my pictures!!!!
I’m so glad you enjoyed your trip to PA, the place I’ve lived all my life. Yes, we have wonderful countryside and amazingly inexpensive quilt stores.
When DS and DIL lived in York, PA I visited from Colorado often. Loved the rolling hills and the “feel” of the place. Glad your trip was fun – did you bring home any treasures? Judy C
Can I second whata’ wondrous time we had??????? Soooooooooooo many fun times, fab finds, a veritable feast for the eyes and spirit!!!!!!! And doing it with my buddy, just doesn’t get any better than that…….. Oh, how I loved, loved, loved the dear family at Oregon Dairy, it was just so very special to see such a miracle of nature and for them to be tended to and cherished as they should be………………..
