Chesterfield County Arts and Sciences Festival 2008

I went to the  Arts and Sciences Festival today at Cosby High School (sponsored by the Chesterfield County Public Schools.)  I was SO IMPRESSED with all of the wonderful exhibits.  Our county art and science teachers and students are awesome - what a great show.  There is a lot of talent in our county!

Dear Jane Civil War Quilt - Baby Jane - My Newest Endeavor

I was inspired to make a DEAR JANE (Baby Jane) CIVIL WAR QUILT by the quilters on my recent Wakefield, VA retreat.  Some people call our reproduction quilts BABY JANE QUILTS, reserving the title of DEAR JANE for the original quilt made by Jane in 1863.
