Scrapbooking PINK at Memories Galore 9 28 08

Making Photo scrapbooking memories has been on my List of Favorite Things for fourteen years now.  My oldest daughter, Jan, provided the first bit of inspiration for this FUN HOBBY back in the days when using scissors with decorative cutting designs was popular for cropping photos!  LOL.  I think we have moved way beyond that point now.  🙂

My quilting has been taking over a lot of my leisure time and the grandangels are lamenting that there are no new pictures in their books!  SO……I decided that I needed to do something about that!

Memories Galore, my one and only favorite Scrapbooking Store, held a series of crops over the weekend – with some of the proceeds going to benefit Breast Cancer Research.  I went today and had a lot of fun eating and drinking everything pink!

And of course I did a lot of scrapbooking too – the more stuff you have out the more productive….if that is correct, then I WAS VERY PRODUCTIVE!  I actually did quite a bit – and as a matter of fact I went through a WHOLE GLUE STICK!!!  :):)

Amber hosted the crops – and since there were only a few of us in attendance today we all won a prize – I got some bunny soft pink scissors and some pretty pink papers.  I loved Amber’s SCRAP PINK apron.  I am going to have to get busy and have more of this kind of fun!  Actually today I got inspired to do some digital scrapbooking.  🙂
