1st UFO Parade – Colonial Piecemaker’s Quilt Guild, April 2009

Posted By on April 5, 2009

Saturday there were LOTS of things going on at the Colonial Piecemaker’s Quilt Guild Meeting in Williamsburg.  It was special for a number of reasons.  We had a wonderful program presented by our guest, Cyndi Sauder – a lot of inspiration for overcoming and getting out of our quilting ruts and/or quilter’s block!!!  You can read more about Cyndi at www.moonlightingquilts.com/  She is funny, energetic and creative!!

It was our first PARADE of UFO’s finished from our list of 5!  It was quilte a motivator and there were lots of smiles on Saturday as many of us checked off our first UFO from our list.  Mine was Ann Smith’s design (Fabricaholics Anonymous) – NEW YEAR’S EVE MYSTERY – and check out Marla’s THYME TO WATER!  Marla did a great job and Sara Parrish did the quilting that is just absolutely amazing.

Enjoy the pictures and the fun!  Sherry had on rabbit ears – gave us all a few smiles!
