Day Three of Tour de Quilt at Quilter’s Corner

It was another day full of oohs and aahs during Tour de Quilt – Day 3 – at Quilter’s Corner.  Some folks were having SO MUCH FUN that they had visited all nine shops on the TOUR and were coming back to Quilter’s Corner for an encore.  That was fun!

Even though we had a local parade that closed the road getting to us for a few hours this morning, I was AMAZED at the determination of the folks in the world of quilting.  Many just parked and HIKED right in to QC!   It was cold and rainy too – but I know that it was an effort worthwhile!  I knew that it was all worth it by looking at their happy faces as they raced for the hot pumpkin spice coffee.  🙂

I especially had fun today because I learned to use a light box and was able to trace a design onto fabric.  Now all that I have to learn to do is to embroider on the lines that I drew.

Here are some of my photo memories from today!  Check out Marla’s antique quilt from a quilt store in Oklahoma – and the quilt with 600 flying geese – and they all looked PERFECT.  My oh my!!!  What talent!
