Sara – my friend and long arm quilter – has the most wonderful quilting cottage and I just love to go there. She has it decorated so cute for fall and I wanted to share my photos of the “warmth and hospitality!”

When I was last there Sara had just finished her Bonnie K. Hunter design – CHRISTMAS LIGHTS – isn’t it cute! I love the border and backing fabrics (aren’t the Scotties darling) that Sara used! GOOD JOB SARA! Sara is the one who inspired me to put labels on my quilts.

MY GRATITUDE POST
Here are birthday presents that just arrived from SHAKER VILLAGE. I used birthday money to buy this hand made Shaker Tote and Shaker Pin Cushion (I got them on my New England Quilt Tour) and they were just shipped to me – so I felt like I was having my birthday all over again! YEAH!

And speaking of birthdays – grandangel Sarah just had her 10 year old slumber birthday party Saturday night. There is nothing quite so joyful as listening to the giggles of young people having fun. It just gladdens the heart! I know they had a LOT of fun too because the GIGGLES WERE LOUD!!!
