More Places to send Quilts to Japan

Posted By on March 30, 2011

I have talked to several people who want to help the people of Japan with a gift of a quilt…..here are some more websites to check out if you are interested – and some don’t have the April 30 deadline.  At least ONE will accept gently used quilts if there is no sign of wear.

The FOLLOWING is from the American Quilters Society….

Quilts for Japan AQS shares the concern of many Americans about the ongoing tragedy in Japan. Quilters are generous, and numerous efforts to send comfort via quilts are underway. We applaud these programs and encourage you to participate.

Did you find someone to quilt for you? I just ordered material to make quilts for Japan as well but I have no idea how to quilt. I live in Richmond as well.
