Colonial Piecemaker’s Guild Meeting September, 2011

Posted By on September 3, 2011

Today, at our Colonial Piecemaker’s Quilt Guild Meeting in Williamsburg, we had our TWO COLOR  CRAYON QUILT CHALLENGE reveal.  It was really inspiring and fun to see the talent and creativity of the quilts.

This year everyone stood up and told their quilt story – the techniques they used and what inspired them to do what they did.  THAT WAS REALLY INTERESTING.  I am so impressed with the challenge quilts this year.  You can see them up close at the Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival in Hampton next year!

I took pictures of MOST of the quilts – two or three turned out blurry, so those aren’t included!  I hope you enjoy the picture show!

As always, Catherine’s CONSUMER PRODUCT REPORT was informative and entertaining!  NO ONE can find bargains like she can – and she has such CREATIVE use for everything as well!

Wondering what Catherine’s consumer report was this month. I am always interested in what she comes up with and did it result in being in her art sculpture..Thanks for sharing the pictures. Judy C in NC
