Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Auction for January 2012

Posted By on December 24, 2011

Several of our Colonial Piecemaker’s Quilt Guild members from Williamsburg, VA have quilts in the January Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative for January.  You might want to take a peek!

We’ve just received notice that some of our quilts will be in the January Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative Auction – 7 of them, I believe. So let’s have some spirited bidding to show what CPQG can do!

Here’s a list of the quilts that will be up for bit and a link that you can use to preview them. Bidding will begin Jan 1 and run until midnight on Jan 10. I’ve already taken a peek and even if none of the CPQG member quilts ring your chime, there are some other really great quilts on this auction. So join me next month in purchasing art for Alzheimer’s research! Thanks, Sherry

  2. Such a wonderfully talented group! I love all of the quilts at auction, this month. Congratulations to all!

  3. Thank you so much for sharing information about the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative! I lost my Dad to Alzheimer’s in December of 2010 and have been committed to raising money for research through AAQI since he was diagnosed in 2006. I am a quilter and I love that the Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative is a grass roots organization that is totally staffed by volunteers so that every available dollar can be used to fund research. I love your little quilts and am thrilled that your guild has taken up our cause!
