Cats in the Window – one of my FAVORITE THINGS

Barbara – you can find her on her blog at CAT PATCHES – is hosting a foto finish with a theme of THROUGH THE WINDOW. She has a picture of her precious cat that is looking out the window. Naturally I felt compared to share our cat window pictures too.

Honestly, I just ABSOLUTELY HAD to share my own photos of our cats watching the world outside. The largest cat, Midnight, makes bird noises – it is SO FUNNY! She now paws at the blinds of the bathroom window if I go in and FORGET to open the blinds so that she can get on her perch!!! Cats are definitely on my list of FAVORITE THINGS. I cannot imagine my life without a cat in it! Here is Midnight looking out the window!

After VIEWING this FUN, Oreo Cookie joined Midnight in her window viewing activity!
Then there were Midnight AND Oreo
Before long, Grandangel Sarah joined the cats in looking out of the window. Maybe WE should try looking out the window – it does look like fun, doesn’t it!!

Yes, there are FOUR cats in this family. Oreo and Cuddles are in the window – and poor Midnight and Hannay Faye are left behind…..but not for long! I love the way Midnight stands up on her hind legs…..she does this a lot!

Isn’t this so sad – little Hannah Faye KNOWS there is something WONDERFUL going on in the outside world – but there doesn’t appear to be any more room!!!!

Love the picture of Midnight standing up on hind legs! That is too cute! My cat Tigger also makes those funny chattering noises while looking out the window at birds, or at the neighbors’ cats. He has several window perches throughout the house and I’d better not have anything stacked up in his way because he’ll just push it aside!

Love your pictures!!! My favorite is Midnight standing on her back legs! And then of course, your Grandangel joining in…. so precious!!!
We had 2 cats until we lost one this past year. So now Gypsy is alone and she spends quite a lot of time looking out the windows. The older she gets (16 this coming August), the less she wants to go outside unless the conditions are perfect. So she just contents herself in looking and remembering bird chasing of years past!
LOL Judy…..In 2005 (for 9 months) I lived with 8 grandangels and 3 cats in the house (along with 1DD, 1 DSIL, 1 DS and 1 DDIL) and it was the BEST TIME EVER….never a dull moment. With only 3 grandangels and 4 cats and 1 dog here now, it is kind of quiet. 🙂

Those are too cute! Especially the ones with the little kitty on the toilet trying to get a look. Makes me wish I had a kitten.
