What’s on my Design Floor Monday, October 8, 2012

On my design floor this week is my CAROLINA CROSSROADS II quilt.  I finally finshed the top and am now piecing a back.  This is Bonnie Hunter’s FIRST Mystery Quilt – and the only one that I hadn’t made two of.  SO….I went back to make the second one.  This one is large – I added an extra row both horizontally and vertically.  Do you see the little kitty, Hannah Faye, sitting in the back by the door staring at the quilt.  Just minutes after I took this picture, she took a flying leap and slid across the floor on the quilt.  It is her favorite thing to do. If I would let her she would do it over and over again.

Oh I do love this one……..I’m already looking forward to the next mystery.

On the others did you start two at the beginning of the mystery? I have made all of Bonnie’s
mystery quilts and a few of them twice ;0)

this one is lovely, nicely done!

    Happy sewing

HA! My cat Tigger does the same thing! LOVE, love, love that quilt. It is on my bucket list to do, but I have to finish Orca Bay first. I’m only making ONE, though!
