Augusta/Melissa Retreat in Urbanna, VA Nov. 2012 – SHOW AND TELL

Posted By on November 21, 2012

I love retreats – don’t you?  One of the inspiring and motivating aspects of a quilt retreat is that you get to see what others have created!  Here are a few of the informal SHOW AND TELLS from the Augusta/Melissa Retreat in Urbanna, VA last weekend.  Look at these FABULOUS QUILTS!  I wish I could remember which quilt belonged to which person (SOLUTION:  Note to self….. in the future – plan AHEAD!)  I just know that I was impressed and enjoyed the experience IMMENSELY.  Thanks to Augusta and Melissa and all of the wonderful quilters that made this retreat so special!

Hi there! I am a new SAO groupie, brought here by your amazing stock of Bonnie Hunter quilts! I think you are possibly the most prolific quilter I’ve ever witnessed! I don’t suppose the bargello with ornaments and the crabs in this post are patterns you could name for me, are they? Just taking a chance! Thanks for sharing; you are really inspiring to me.
