Allietare Clue 3 Bonnie K. Hunter Quiltville Mystery 2015

Posted By on December 14, 2015

Another wonderful group of blocks are made and are just waiting patiently to find their special place in this year’s Quiltville Mystery!

I am making two mystery quilts – Allietare and Christmas Allietare.  In the Christmas Allietare I have substituted green for the gray in Bonnie’s suggested color scheme.  However in BOTH of my quilts there is the antique gold and scrappy neutrals.  So I did what you might call DOUBLING YOUR PLEASURE THIS WEEK….I made not 120 four patches but 240….and I cut not 36 big rectangles – but 72.  COLOR ME HAPPY!

So here are my photos of this week’s happenings!

And finally – here are my 72 neutral rectangles!  I am wondering where these will be placed in the quilt…..could they be a border?  We will just have to wait and see.  This is why mysteries are SO MUCH FUN.

Cannot wait to see them both!

My hat is off to you. I thought I was doing well to finish one set of 4-patches. I don’t think I could handle making two of Bonnie’s mysteries at the same time.

  4. Vireya says:

You’ve been busy to get all that done so quickly!

  5. Rhoda Forbes says:

That is a lot of work, doing two at a time. Love your little four patches…what will we be doing next clue? So far the clues have been quite easy.
