sao 2008 Carolina Crossroads Mystery Quilt Block 7 - THE RING BLOCK

I have been working on my Carolina Crossroads Mystery Quilt…….block 7 and beyond  This is what the block (this is 1 of 25) looks like!

I have had so much fun putting all of the blocks out on the floor to get a preview of what it will look like when finished.  I am so excited about this quilt – I think I am really going to like it a lot.  I actually had to concentrate and ask for family EYES to make sure  I got everything put out correctly!  I jokingly say that I have SPATIAL DYSLEXIA because sometimes I get confused when trying to put my quilt blocks together.

Here is Cuddles TinkerBELLE, our 3-month old kitty, sitting innocently on the quilt.  She seems to be fascinated with all of these colorful toys……I saw her try to flip a block in the air with her paw!

I turned my back to iron a couple of the blocks that I had sewn together and out of the corner of my eye I saw a ball of black fur SLIDING across the floor surfing on one of the ring blocks!

Cuddles TinkerBELLE had so much fun running and jumping on the blocks and then SLIDING across the floor on the blocks that I didn’t have the heart to stop her.   I just hope I can put the Carolina Crossroads Mystery Quilt back together again!  🙂

It looks like Cuddles TinkerBELLE rearranged the blocks!

I wish all of us could have this kind of SIMPLE JOY……although running and sliding on quilt blocks on a hardwood floor may not be the safest kind of SIMPLE JOY for non-furry folks!  🙂
