Moda Piece and Plenty BLOCK OF THE MONTH CLUB Ended

Sunday marked the end of a year’s worth of fun - along with a few little moments of UNFUN. :) This quilt is the MODA PIECE N PLENTY BLOCK OF THE MONTH MYSTERY QUILT that we have been working on since October, 2007 at Quilter’s Corner. Actually it was all fun - I just struggled a bit here and there getting the pieces REVERSED when appliquing. I think I cut out the wavy strips for the flag in the bucket THREE TIMES before getting the waves going in the correct direction - on the fourth time. But hey, the center of the top is together!

In the last picture I have added a 2 1/2 inch border and I plan to add a row of piano keys around the quilt before I call it finished. I won’t have much downtime - the NEW MODA BOM QUILT starts October 1.
