Country Piecemaker’s SHOW AND TELL December 09

Posted By on December 12, 2009

We had LOTS of show and tell today – Baby Quilts for the ICU – Orphan Block Quilts for Madeline’s House – regular show and tell – Merci’s show and tell from her EXOTIC TRAVELS – and FINALLY the FINALE of the BOM Mystery Quilt designed by Catherine and Sandie.  It turned out really great – and I can’t wait to put mine together!

Today was pretty EXCITING – and if all of this isn’t enough, we got to see Catherine’s artistry displayed in the window case in the front entrance of the library.  The display is wonderful, the jewelry and other works of art are all AMAZING!   I got the necklance with the RED HEART under the C in Catherine’s name.  LOVE IT!

  1. Oh my gosh, we DID have fun didn’t we???????????? We had sooooooo much to discuss/resolve/reveal that we ran short of time and sadly, some of the show stoppers didn’t get the quality share time they deserved………..
Sandie absolutely outdid herself, I lost count of the wondrously scrappy creations she unveiled and I would be hard pressed to come up with a favorite, although the bazillion scrappy circles does have my heart………. And Shirley’s Carolina Christmas mystery, designed by Bonnie Hunter simply took my breath away. I am so incredibly blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful friends, such talented artists and having Sandie as a partner in crime for the 2009 mystery was simply THE best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whata’ bounty of blessings and then lunch afterwards with Shirley and Carmen, I was just such a contented Catherine when day was done…………………
