Molly Comes Out of the Box

When I get a new sewing machine (like this HAPPENS EVERY DAY!!!!) I like to look at the box for awhile before opening it. I like to savor the newness, the adventure, the excitement……and hey, I must be honest, I don’t like to follow instructions and that is usually important if you want your sewing machine to work!
After SAVORING the potential EXCITEMENT for 10 days, I finally decided to OPEN my HELLO KITTY SEWING MACHINE…..ta da….here she is, MOLLY!

And I did read the manual and I did manage to get the bobbin case exposed (this required some strategy to get to it…..I am always afraid of BREAKING SOMETHING!) I really had fun sewing with Molly. it doesn’t take much for me to have a good time! 🙂 She will go with me to my next sewing class – and maybe even on my upcoming Country Piecemakers Quilt Guild Retreat!
