It was one year ago today that Catherine began her journey toward rebirth and renewal…..the infamous accident at the Clothes Closet in Powhatan was one year ago! Catherine is an amazing, determined woman though and has overcome lots of pain and rehabilitation strategies to get to where she is today…..and that is what we were celebrating today.
It was a GREAT celebration too with ice cream, carrot cake, strawberries, decorated water bottles, decorated napkins, decorated straws, scented bubbles, balloons and all kinds of toys and fun. It was a celebration fit for a queen and Catherine has the crown to prove it.
It was a perfect party – I only wish I would have come home with some of those sunflower seeds…..LOL!!! AND BTW the carrot cake was WONDERFUL!!!!

Today was soooooooooooooooooo very right and I was determined to celebrate all that life has to offer, especially the gift of life itself, meant to be honored and cherished and embraced and above all, shared………….. I am so truly blessed beyond measure, lucky, lucky oh so lucky girl am I……..
